Recently, a heartbreaking story of how a genius from Polytechnic University of the Philippines gained the scrutinizing looks of others because of his personal appearance went viral online. In a lengthy Facebook post, Facebook user Rozel Billone shared what happened during his encounter with the man while on the jeepney. Apparently, when the professor went in, people are giving him prying glances and even the driver wanted to refuse him service. Since he is a senior citizen, he was then allowed to sit. People are talking about how he doesn’t have the money to pay but he did what he had to do and handed the fare. It is just sad how people tend to judge based on looks.
